Loving Life and Living Fabulously for Less!
My name is Keki and I started this blog with the intentions of sharing deals, discounts, freebies, events, product reviews and giveaways in and around Detroit, its Metropolitan areas and Nationwide.
Before blogging, I think I was infamous for sharing sales and deals. Whenever I’d get a compliment on something, after saying “Thank you”, the first thing I’d blurt out is where I got it and how much it cost or how much I saved. I’ve been known to text or call my friends or family members if I catch a deal in a store. I’ve even stopped complete strangers in a store to make sure that they did not miss out on a deal. Weird, I know; I just can’t keep a good deal to myself!
I want to share the art of getting a “good deal” with the world and I figure I’d put some of my indulgences to good use. Shopping to me is like a sport; if I pay less and get more, then I have WON the game!
In this tight economy, everyone is trying to save money, so why not get the most out of your dollar?
Here’s a little about myself: I’m a wife and mother of 3 boys (2 that I birthed and 1 that I got as a bonus from my husband). My bonus-son is an adult now (he is a great guy, by the way) recently got married and now has a beautiful wife and 3 adorable children of his own! My husband is a Filmmaker and I have been persuaded/convinced/coerced/poked/prodded/forced into acting for him from time to time (Lol). The things we do to help the ones we love. My other two sons are beautiful, smart and well-rounded young men with bright futures. One is on his way to college and the youngest is my heart and my shopping partner in crime, I am so proud of them.
I am pretty versatile, can adapt to almost any environment, and I think I’m cool to hang around. I have worked full-time in the insurance industry for over a decade and I fill what little extra time I have with finding great deals on clothes, products, food, restaurants… you name it. If it’s a good deal, I’m there!
Some may consider me a girlie-girl. I LOVE, let me repeat it just to be clear, L-O-V-E to dress up and try new beauty products. I think it comes from working in an industry where FLAIR is not appreciated too much, lol. So every chance I get, I try to put on the Ritz, so to speak. But don’t get me wrong, even with my FLAIR, I am SO down-to-earth.
A lot of folks who know me personally would say that I am pretty resourceful. And I think I would have to agree with them. : ) Give me a challenge to make something out of nothing, and I am in my glory!
So, I hope that you enjoy my posts and if you get a chance, drop me a comment, and recommend me to a friend or two!
Ta-ta for now,
